Our Origins as SiliciumLab

SiliciumLab began long before we called ourselves that. Our origin starts with a name, someone who used contemporary science to improve health through natural medicine. The genesis of our studies, our challenges and our achievements as a leading brand in the field of organic silicon begin with Loïc le Ribault and his research on organic silicon. He was also a staunch defender of therapeutic freedom, of how and through which therapy each individual wants and decides to improve their health.

My personal story

I am Juan Carlos Hierro, and together with Esther, my companion on this journey all this time, I want to tell you my story, and the one that has become the story of many who have made SiliciumLab what it is today. What we are. In 2003 I began distributing the organic silicon of doctor Loïc Le Ribault, at that time I was eager to understand why that magical product, organic silicon, produced such rapid positive results, and sometimes miraculous ones, in people with difficulty walking, with relapses and flare-ups of sclerosis or with severe skin and scarring problems. I certainly couldn't remain with doubts about something that was becoming the solution to other people's problems, the pain of many people. I wanted to know, so I could learn and help others.

Persevering to achieve our goal

I needed to know more, much more. I was anxious, with that human vehemence to discover how organic siliconreally worked, from its origins. So I set to work to contact Doctor Le Ribault. But I must confess it wasn't easy. It became so difficult that it prevented me from having a meeting with him.

I suppose it's needless to say that perseverance, my healthy stubbornness, produced results and I managed to contact him, securing aninterview in Switzerland. A few weeks later, I interviewed him. I admit, he left me spellbound, puzzled and fascinated by the immeasurable greatness of his person. Admiring his work and his character, I immediately invited him to give two lectures in Barcelona and Madrid. In a few months I had organized everything so more people could meet him and, above all, to publicize his work with organic silicon.

In Barcelona, within the framework of the Natural Health Fair Exposalud (May 2005), his lecture before more than 500 health professionals was an extraordinary and resounding success. In the following weeks there was an avalanche of requests from professionals from all corners of Spain. Dr. Le Ribault had not been informed that there was such an active distributor of organic silicon in Spain, and it was a pleasant surprise for him. There we were, eager to take on the world offering a product that was improving many people's quality of life, the doctor's 5th-generation organic silicon. So, surprisingly to me, Le Ribault offered us the manufacturing license for certain countries and, in the long run, after resolving some issues with his former partner, he granted us the manufacturing and distribution license for organic silicon worldwide.

Can you imagine the immense joy and responsibility we felt at that moment? We were aware from the very moment of that grant. Work that we have been carrying out, with great daily effort, for the past 20 years exclusively, and with consistency, professionalism and care that have made us market leaders.

Helping other people improve their quality of life

But let's go back to the beginnings. Let's take a jump in time. I learned about organic silicon in 2002, when some old French friends of my parents brought me a bottle of organic silicon from France, knowing that Esther, my wife, suffered from severe back pain. Within a few months, Esther fully recovered. A personal and emotional situation that increased my interest in organic silicon.

Now I had more reasons to want to investigate further, to know it better, and to be able to help many more people. I was in a period of change in my life. As we have all experienced, or will experience, they are part of life's process… thank goodness! A series of decisions where it was necessary to take steps in another direction. Not satisfied with my job, and consequently with my life, I saw in organic silicon an opportunity. An opportunity to improve professionally and personally. To redirect my path.

And then, everything changed. I am aware that we are the sum of our decisions. And I am proud of having made that decision. The new job changed my life. I went from the upset, apathy and unease of clients who shared their discomfort with me, to happiness through the gratitude of people whose quality of life we had improved by improving their health. And with that, the desire to keep improving and growing.

Yes, therein lies the secret… in the desire and in perseverance. Twenty years after that meeting with Le Ribault, we remain moved. And it is neither a utopia nor a metaphor of life, but a reality. Every day we would talk at home, with great emotion, about the new positive experiences our customers shared with us thanks to organic silicon. And with great humility and respect, we continued working with organic silicon, exploring which new health areas it benefited, the dosages, the duration of intake, and many other factors that motivated us to keep helping as many people as possible improve their quality of life.

Our legacy at SiliciumLab

Our children grew up in that environment and imbued with that enthusiasm, mine and Esther's, for improving other people's health and, over the years, when they completed their university studies, and with a mix of surprise, excitement and pride, both did their final degree projects on organic silicon and our company SiliciumLab! For parents, children are the greatest pride and their best life project. Or so it should always be.

With that parental uncertainty that always envelops us with doubts about whether we did it right. After all, we are human. Imagine then knowing that our two children are an indispensable part of our company. Marc, the eldest son, took charge of our American company five years ago, being at the head of a competitive and constantly growing market (www.livingsilica.com). With spectacular results and driven by the enthusiasm for the organic silicon Project he is doubling sales year after year. Our younger daughter, Ariadna, equally enthusiastic as her brother, joined SiliciumLab in 2018, bringing that breath of fresh air the company so badly needed. Young, restless, curious to learn and to contribute daily, not only thinking that it is her parents' company, but with the deep conviction that we are improving the quality of life of thousands of people.

People in the service of people

That is why at SiliciumLab, we understand that quality and processes with optimal results, require knowledge, tenacity, education, research, implementing what has been learned, and correcting what is wrong. But none of this would be possible without the intense enthusiasm and love we put in, not only as a family, but also as professionals. The team that is part of SiliciumLab is a group of people who, beyond their personal concerns, have managed to express, with all our trust in them, their professional aspirations, and make our brand philosophy part of our daily DNA as a company consolidated over time.
