Three silicons, three profiles: which is which and what each one is for
If you have tried silicon supplements and noticed nothing, it probably was not bioavailable organic silicon. There are three very common silicons on the market, and they vary a lot. This is the real difference.
Technical comparison of the 3 silicons: in a single table
Before you spend money on a supplement, look at this table. Origin, real bioavailability, published clinical evidence — everything that matters, side by side.

How much silicon really reaches your body?
When you read “contains X mg of silicon” on a label, what matters is not that number — it is how much actually reaches your tissues. That is bioavailability. Here are the 3 criteria that separate a silicon that works from one that just takes up space in the stomach.
What to look for in a silicon
Three objective criteria · without comparing percentages
“Organic” does not mean it comes from a plant. In chemistry, “organic” means it has a bond with carbon. For it to be truly bioavailable organic silicon, it has to be bound to an organic carbon and absorbed without digestive transformation. Without that bond, it is not organic silicon — no matter what the label says.
I already chose G7 organic silicon. Liquid or capsules?
You have already chosen Silicium G7®. Now the practical question: liquid or capsules? The active ingredient is the same. What changes is when and how your body absorbs it. Each format fits a different routine.
Same active ingredient · same original formula · only the delivery matrix changes
Four elements that no other silicon on the market combines.
There are many silicons on the market. But only one combines these four elements at the same time. This is what sets Silicium G7® apart.
If you want truly bioavailable organic silicon, many labels say so. Silicium G7® is the original — the formula of the scientist who discovered that silicon could be absorbed by the human body. Everything else came later.

Same active ingredient, same quality, same original formula — two formats designed for your use and your home.

What people ask us most.
Six common questions when comparing silicon types and formats.
01Which type of silicon is best?+
The one your body absorbs and uses. That is bioavailable organic silicon — and Silicium G7® is by design: bioavailability proven in humans, EFSA Novel Food 2017/2470 authorization, and 23 years with real people. Be careful with labels that say “organic silicon” but are not.
02What is the difference between organic and colloidal silicon?+
The bioavailable organic form (Silicium G7®) is absorbed directly by your body. Colloidal silicon is mineral particles in suspension — only the soluble fraction that is slowly released is absorbed. For building collagen and extracellular matrix, the difference is huge.
03What about plant-based “silicons” (bamboo, other plants)?+
They provide plant silica — it is not the same. They are good botanical supplements with their own uses . But if you want to rebuild collagen, elastin, or keratin, you need bioavailable organic silicon. The label “organic silicon” in these cases can be misleading.
04What is silicon bioavailability?+
It is how much of the silicon you take really reaches your tissues. What matters on a label is not “contains X mg of silicon,” it is “how much of that do you absorb.” And between different chemical forms, the difference can be as much as 7×.
05Is liquid or capsules better?+
The active ingredient is the same. Liquid: fast absorption (peak 30-60 min), recommended when starting. Capsules: come with added synergies (vitamins, minerals), more convenient for maintenance. What works is adjusting it to your routine and timing.
06Why does Silicium G7® stand out from other organic silicons?+
Four exclusive elements: original formula by Dr. Loïc Le Ribault (1995), GMP pharmaceutical production with purity ≥ 99.5%, EFSA Novel Food 2017/2470 and 23 years of pharmacovigilance with 70+ published studies.
