Clinical benefits
backed by evidence

Six things that happen when silicon really gets in.

Six clinical effects of Silicium G7® in the human body, measured in published trials. The original formula by Dr. Loïc Le Ribault, refined over 23 years and audited by the EFSA as a Novel Food. It is an enzyme cofactor in the synthesis of collagen, elastin and keratin.

01 · The starting point

The body knows silicon. It just gets less and less of it.

The decline starts at 30. By 60, reserves have been cut in half. And everything that depends on silicon — collagen, bone, skin, arteries — begins to notice.

— What matters

Silicium G7® does not act on a specific organ. It acts wherever the body needs to rebuild, support or regenerate: collagen chains, calcium binding to bone, elastin and keratin that give skin firmness and hair vitality. The original formula by Dr. Le Ribault — refined over 23 years.

02 · The six benefits

Six effects, six figures, six sources.

Each with its study, its figure and its author. The short list — the one backed by published evidence.

01

Synthesis of collagen

Essential for the enzymes that assemble collagen. Without silicon, fibers do not form properly and the tissue loses firmness.

The cells that produce collagen make +12 % more collagen when they receive silicon.

Del Bas 2014 (in vitro CTNS-Eurecat) · Reffitt 1999

02

Joint well-being

Joints depend on collagen and the matrix that keeps them flexible. Silicon plays a part in its formation.

  • 87 % reported better mobility
  • 77 % reported less pain
  • 83 % reported improved quality of life

BIOFORTIS / Mérieux NutriSciences 2011

03

Bone and calcification

Calcium needs a protein matrix to deposit into. Silicon appears in active calcification areas. The Framingham study linked higher dietary silicon intake with greater hip bone mineral density in men and pre-menopausal women.

  • +40 % calcium deposit in bone cells in vitro
  • Those who consume more silicon in the diet have up to 10 % more bone density

Del Bas 2014 (in vitro) · Carlisle 1981 · Jugdaohsingh 2004 (Framingham)

04

Skin, hair and nails

In a trial with 17 women over 150 days, organic silicon improved skin firmness and hair appearance (Ferreira 2018).

  • 25 % fewer wrinkles
  • 25-35 % fewer UV spots
  • Improved hair hydration and skin radiance

Ferreira 2018 · Polonini 2019 (topical)

05

Removal of aluminum

Silicon forms soluble complexes that the body eliminates through urine. A documented route of natural elimination.

  • 157 % more aluminum eliminated in urine in women
  • 7 % less aluminum in hair

Crescenti UCAM (under review) · n=45 · Polonini 2019 · Jones et al. (Exley) 2017 EBioMedicine

06

Cardiovascular system

The aorta is the organ with the highest silicon concentration in the human body. When silicon drops, arteries harden.

  • Diseased arteries have 14× less silicon than healthy ones
  • Effect on blood pressure documented in humans

Loeper 1966/1978 · Schwarz 1977 · Pometan 1978

04 · Anatomical distribution

Systemic distribution of silicon in the target tissues.

Silicon is preferentially incorporated into tissues with high demand for collagen, elastin and keratin. Its physiological decline shows up first in these target tissues.

07 · Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most.

Six common questions with clinical answers and sources.

01When do the benefits become noticeable?+

The first signs appear between the 2nd and 6th week of consistent use. Results become established after 2 or 3 months. With topical application (gel or spray on a joint or skin), the effect is usually almost immediate. Consistency is key: silicon works through accumulation, not isolated doses.

02Is it suitable for all ages?+

Yes, with dosage adjusted to body weight. Silicon is essential at every stage, but the physiological decline starts at 30, so from the fourth decade onward external intake makes a clearer difference. Children ≥12 years: ~0.3 ml/kg.

03What is the fastest benefit?+

In the BIOFORTIS / Mérieux NutriSciences 2011 trial (n=30, 6 weeks, self-report), 87 % of subjects reported better joint mobility. In skin and hair, results are more gradual — Ferreira 2018 shows objective changes at 150 days.

04Does it combine with other supplements?+

Yes. Documented synergy with hydrolyzed collagen, magnesium, vitamin C and vitamin D. Silicon boosts collagen synthesis and improves calcium binding. Separate from medication by 1 h to optimize absorption.

05What is removing aluminum for?+

Dietary, cosmetic and environmental aluminum accumulates over a lifetime in the brain, bones and breasts. Its body burden is associated with neurodegenerative diseases (Exley · University of Keele). Organic silicon is the documented route to help promote its elimination in humans.

06Are the effects cumulative?+

Yes. Silicon integrates progressively into tissues. After 1 month, functional changes are already visible (joints, hydrated skin). After 3 months, structural improvements (collagen, hair). After 6 months, a stable systemic effect. Usual regimen: 1-3 months of use + possible break.
